NEW YEAR'S WISHES - 2012

Greetings to our friends and family and our best wishes for a wonderful new year! The past year was an eventful one for our family with two weddings, a change of job, a new educational adventure and a couple of travel opportunities.

Richard was married to his sweetheart, Reina Forsythe, on January 1, 2011. They are now expecting a baby any day (in the picture of Rich and Reina is our granddaughter, London, from Rich's first marriage).

Rebecca was married to Dan Jeppson (also her sweetheart) on July 1, 2011. In December Becca graduated from Utah State University with a degree in elementary education. They live in Logan where Dan works as a loan officer for Wells Fargo.

Emily and Joseph (Butler) are living with their family in Knoxville, Tennessee where Joseph works as a commodities trader for Pilot Oil.

Jennifer and Ben (Johnson) are in Detroit, Michigan and Ben is flying with a regional airline called Pinnacle Air (a Delta affiliate).

Steve and Laura are living in Orem, Utah. Steve is an executive with a data storage company call Xio and Laura is a registered nurse.

Kristi is living with us in Logan where she is attending Utah State and is a junior in early childhood education.

In June Dave transferred from the Huntsman School of Business at Utah State to a newly formed university group called Commercialization and Regional Development where he is now working to get university technologies into the market place.

Christine was admitted this fall into a Ph.D. program at Utah State in the college of Education and Human Services and she'll be researching qualitative aspects of Alzheimer's patients based on data that has been collected for 20 years in a Cache Valley aging and memory study.

In July we were able to travel to Peru and enjoy Cuzco, Macchu Picchu and Lima. Then we finished off the year with a family trip to Kauai.

Our family now includes five spouses and nine grandchildren, with numbers 10, 11, and 12 on the way (Jennifer is expecting in the summer, Richard's wife Reina is expecting any day and Steve's wife Laura is expecting in just a couple of weeks).

Our love to all! We hope to have opportunity to connect with each of you in the coming year.

Best Wishes for a Happy 2011!

Hello Friends and Family - Chris and I want to wish all of you a very happy and prosperous New Year! We have enjoyed and appreciated the wonderful Christmas cards, the pictures and the family updates we've received. It's great to hear from each of you, especially now that we're in Logan and getting together can be challenging.

2010 was a nice year for our family. We added a grandson (Elijah was born to Ben and Jennifer in April), Chris graduated with an MBA degree from Utah State in June, Chris and I were able to spend several weeks in Switzerland with a student group, Rebecca and Kristin are progressing with their undergraduate work at USU and Dave continues to teach and direct entrepreneurial programs in the Huntsman School of Business. In between all of that there's been a little time for some family fun. I've posted a few pictures to illustrate our year's highlights.

Much love to all,
Chris and Dave
